I currently have 2gb memory and t2500 duo core intel processor and ati x1400 256mb. I see you can buy 4gb memory from different manufacturers can I add these into the laptop. Thanks for you help and Information

Nope can't do. Sorry, but Dell Inspiron e1705's RAM's support is only up to 2 GB.
