i'm living in delhi n i've to send some money to my friend living in assam..

Hi ,
U cannot send money or cash thru courier,they dont accept it.so better make a bank to bank transfer or make a DD(Demand Draft) & cross it to A/c Payee only .then you can send it by courier to your friend.

Dont send cash by courier. Its risky. Try one of these:
1. Try western union money transfer
2. Send him crossed cheque or bank draft
3. Check with post office for money order, if still in operation.

Go to their office and tell them the adress and give them package,you can not sent money or self cheques,but i think most accept crossed cheques
Try western union if you both have bacnk account to benefit from online banking ..you can add amount to his account directly if his bank is online..
