If you didn't open the box - I would say yeah no worries - you could have told them it was an unwanted xmas gift. but you've opened it and played the games. the only way they would refund you the full amount is if there was something wrong with the XBOX such asa mechanical fault. as it stands you've stuck with it.
You could try www.game.uk.com find your nearest store and trade the system in, but you'd never get the price you paid for it. better to keep it and grow to love it.

Stuff like this can be hard to return especially as there isnt a fault with it. If you can pack the xbox console in the box like it was when you bought it, you might have some luck.
i think its unlikely that you will get refunds for the games as shops never take digital media back. all things considered you do have statutory rights.
advertise it on gumtree.co.uk or loot and i'm sure you'll make your money back

I am probably totally wrong here but if you bought it at the weekend I think that you have a good shout at getting your money back it's not like you got it at Christmas. These shops make all kinds of restrictions which benefit them but if the system did not live up to your reasonable expectations then you are entitled to a refund, they cannot dictate what you consider to be reasonable, and you have statutory rights. However, I have no sympathy for you if you have a PC and you think X Box is going to out-perform it. -Wii maybe!

Usually it depends on the store, but once you open game or system packages, you usually are unable to return them for a refund. Now if something is wrong with them, then you can take in a defected one and get is changed out for the exactly same product.

seriously mate, I've got a 360 with 5 games
(including superman returns which at the time, I was quite chuffed with) and after about three days, I spent most of my gaming time on my gamecube!
I reckon you could return it if you had the receipt, failing that, put an ad up on the internet with your asking price. I'd recommend Ad trader as it's free to advertise. http://www.adtrader.co.uk/
Lol I've found someone who think's it's just as rubbish as I do!

Depends where you bought it from etc. Check their returns policy. Usually if its mint condition with all the packaging and with a receipt then it'll be fine.

nicely my chum, you are able to ask this question tens of millions of situations yet you will purely get peoples guesses you will under no circumstances get a real answer. it is by technique of the fact no guy knows whilst Jesus will return, Jesus himself does not even understand, purely God the daddy knows whilst he will deliver his son back to Earth to save us all. :)

It's at the discretion of the store - legally you can only have your money back if it's not suitable for the purpose for which it was sold (i.e. faulty).
