Other fabrics can work but why is wool most efficient?

when we rub wool with something......then opposite charges develop between the 2 surfaces due to potential difference between the 2.
due to a small potential difference,a small current flows between the 2 surfaces,hence a spark is created after the rubbing.
its similar to comb and hair relation.
the hair are attractd towards the comb after combing because opposite charges are generated between the two surfaces,n we know that opposites attract.
so the hair get attracted towards the comb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wool imparts a strong negative charge because it is more "willing" than other materials to give up some of its (negatively charged) electrons when rubbed.
