Why does Brad Pitt leave skidmarks in his jockeys?

At a recent press conference for his new film Babel, Brad publically took off his underwear and revealed some chocolate brown stains. Why would a Hollywood superstar damage his credibility like this?

Are you serious??!!

If he did indeed do that, that was just too much information for the world!! I've always heard the rumors that he doesn't bathe properly and has noticeable BO so this doesn't surprise me.
