I have a downloaded file on my computer, however there is no option to delete this. I have attempted to delete it by going into Safe Mode, Downloading moveonboot, shredder program, superantispyware, performing a virus check, defragmenting the computer, and a spyware scan to no avail. Any ideas?

Is it in mydocuments folder? Have you right clicked to see the properties and made sure it's not read only?

What does it say when you try to delete it?

Right click on toolbar and see if it is running, probibly is. Highlight it and shut it off, that should allow you to delete it. If it isn't running, go to the file and rename it,(add a 1 or a 0 to it). This should help you to get rid of it,hope it works....Steve

its a corrupted file, probably left over from using a p2p service download gone wrong. Ive found that putting everything else n that folder in another, then leaving that original alone. hopefully you can still run programs from the new folder.
