Charlie was guilty of mental torture when he was with Shelly, but not with Tracey...and Tracey's actions were NOT justified....she's a murdering b*tch!!
(but Charlie did deserve it!)

There characters are clearly both as screwed up as each other, I think both charlie and Tracey have both had what was coming to them - i.e. Charlie nearly murdered and Tracey on her way to prison.
