Between school and finishing up my final credits for college. It's hard to maintain my full time status at work. I read about getting extra side cash through surveys, shopping, and etc; but they make me weary. Does anyone know if there are actual legitimate ones, or are all of them iffy?

the surbey sites are scams and anyone trying to tell you they make 500-1500 a month just from a day a month are only making money on getting you to beleive them and pay for the information. It is really to bad that they can't be weeded out. They have the scams of inboxdollars.com and sendearnings.com and when you do the math you make about 25 cents an hour and that is not worth it to anyone. It is just a referral site that gets people to sign up for spam....

You could start your own blog and ad google adsense on there but again you won't get rich unless you have millions of vistitors. You are better off doing something you like and maybe hoping to make a few bucks.

The surveys are not legit. once again do the math and you will earn about $1 an hour or more likely tickets into a contest of which I have never heard of anyone winning.

I think using your money you have more wisely is a better idea and the motleyfool.com is for investors or smartmoneyclick.com has some tips.

the rule is to never pay for the promise of pay

I have found four legitimate work at home sites so far, and one of them made me $494+ in October, $700+ in November, and $838.57 in December. They are free to join.

Please click my screen name or avatar for more information and a link for proof of payment and lots of specific details.

I made some nice money at first, but once I found out these sites were legitimate, I started adding referrals and the money got a lot better. For every person you refer, you get 20% of what they earn. And for every person that one of your referrals refer you get 10% on one site and 5% on the other. In time--this could be a great source of income--making money while other people are in a sense, working for you.

If you get 5 referrals who earn $20 a month, that is an extra $20 in your pocket. If you get 100 referrals earning $20 a month, that is an extra $400 you'll earn every month!!!

And by the way--never join a work at home program that wants you to pay up front. If they were making that much money, they wouldn't need to charge you.

Note: There is a third site whose referral program works a bit differently, but they have a really high payout.

Cashcrate is legit (I've mad 15 whole dollars in 6 months) woo hoo. Honestly, you cant really make money off of those. You're better off getting a part time job. To get those 15 dollars, I probably put in 8 hours of time.
