That's one of my favorite movies of all time. Lea Thompson was my first celebrity crush. God, I hope they don't make a part 4 or remake it. That would suck.

I do! I saw the first when I was a kid and waited on pins and needles until the "To Be Continued" at the end was finally continued! I hadn't heard that there was a remake or a number 4 being considered. Hmmm....

well here's some news you might not like then.
In 1994 (i have proof of this)... there was talk of a part 4. then a crazzy old guy burned down half of the down town set. (its the downtown part of Universal Studios). By the time they rebuilt it plans to make part 4 were scrapped.
In 2000 i had heard sometime before it of another plan for a part 4 but it was a in passing comment and i wanted to find out if it was true.
I was in Universal Studios and asked someone there if there was ever a 4 planned.
In 1998 when Fox retired, a part 4 and 5 had been in the works. However they could not finish it due to Fox's problems.
SInce then there have been rumors across hollywood of a new plan for a sequel... new cast...
i have also heard that fox would still like to be part of it, as a new look at the doc.
other then that loved the originals.

I love this movie! I also have it on dvd. This is the first time I heard about the possibility of a continuation of the series, but I don't know how this will work if Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd isn't part of the cast.

Fantastic. It is probably the only set of 3 movies that actually don't get worse with every sequel. They all tie in together so well. And always keep you thinking, "how did they... when did they...??"
