I feel like she`s not so popular no more , is that right ?

I'd say she's got one hand in her pocket and the other one is reaping the financial rewards of her first two albums. She made a brilliant first album and followed it up with an equally exceptional, somewhat more subdued second album, which was all the girl had to do to cement her place in history. Jagged Little Pill was, with the exception of albums such as Nevermind and BloodSugarSexMagik, the album that defined the 90's and like those two albums will continue to gain further popularity as the years roll on. Unlike the majority of music that came out of that decade. For that reason alone i have no doubt that Alanis' popularity remains at the same level as it was ten years ago, but perhaps it just rests in the age group of 20-40 rather than the teenage to 30 market which she cracked back then. It's a tough world for decent acts these days in a world where rap, r&b and teeny bopper rule the airwaves. But we who have heard better will keep the popularity of decent music alive. I hope.

Well, no she's not, but when her first album came out it was HUGE, and anyone who had it, would most probably still like it. It had many great songs, and she was the only rock woman out at that time. It's a shame she's not bringing out anymore music, I really liked her, i think she said she's on indefinite hiatus or something.... if I was with Ryan Reynolds, I'd do the same (Bowm-chika-bowm bowm!!

She has not come out with any new material in years. She is a great songwriter and right now lyrics are repetitive and not well written, but luckily it is a music world trend, much like the boy band phase....she will be back.

Well, she hasn't come out with a new CD in awhile. . .
and so now, we really don't know what's going on. But, even though she's not in the media these days, she does have her loyal fan-base, still. . . : )

Well considering she hasn't released anything in a while she's not the in thing. She seemed to hit her peak with her first album.

ya right , because her last album '' so called chaos '' which was incredible by the way , didn`t make that huge success she deserved.
