He gets about $10 million to play football for each season the rest is shirt sales, advertising ,promotional work etc.
He stands to make a lot more than the reported $250 million over the next 5 years.
I say good luck to him he did it on his own.

soccer player. wouldnt want to be a fan of the team heplays for here in the US some Los Angeles team i think. Can you imagine what the food at games will cost hell i bet they charge a dollar each for a squirt of ketchup and mustard to put on the 8 dollar hot dogs lol. It just sucks cuz the fans ultimately pay the bill cuz the owner of the team sure wont use HIS money to pay him Hey Surfer Ade is Beckham a good player or does he just have a good publicity person ?? Has his teams won any championships?

That is the value. If I were him I would've taken it too, guess it also means he is no longer interested in playing at the highest competitive league possible, or any high calibre league for that matter
