Not that I'm the biggest Hillary fan and not that I don't like her either.....but these two individuals represent and appeal to 2 of the biggest pools of non-voters in the U.S.
African Americans and Single Females are the 2 biggest pools of non-voters. If the last election was 51%-49% in the Republicans favor, Will the Republicans stand a chance running against these two in 08 with the potential of having these two pools of "non-voters" draining there votes into there ticket?

John Edward although a great man, does not have that enormous pool of non-voters in his corner, to come out and vote for him, like Hillary would have with the single woman pool. In politics it comes down to attracting the non-voter to vote for you and Hillary/Obama I think have the biggest pools to fish from. We already know that when the normal amount of people vote that it's basicly a tie between Dem. & Rep.

Don't let your personal beliefs answer this question for you. Think about it, non-voters that have a "reason" to come out and vote will determine the out come in 08.

I liked what you had to say about Edwards and Unions......I'm also pro Union. But this question requires that you take out your personal beliefs.

Hillary Clinton/Barrack Obama or Barrack Obama/Hillary Clinton sounds like a winner to me. I would definitely vote for them. I agree on your opinion of John Edwards. He is a great man and a great union man, which is also important to me; but It is questionable as to how he could carry a ticket.

With all due respect to your question, and by the way thank you for asking a serious question, Hillary Clinton cannot win the Presidency. Knowing this, she will probably not get the nomination if she runs, and because she doesn't want to lose face with her supporters by not being able to secure the nomination, she will not even run. I don't think.

Barrack Obama isn't electable either. John Edwards, who would be the best candidate out of those three, cannot win either. It is said that nobody will ever win the Presidency again without completely carrying the south, and none of the above mentioned democrats have a hope in hell of coming close to carrying the south.

Hillary has extensive quantities of bags which will come out in the process the primaries making her unelectable. And Hillary does not "get" the ladies's vote, the chop up is greater like 50/50 and that's without her previous catching up along with her, as quickly as the often used airborne dirt and dirt starts off flying she'll lose help speedy. Obama is a junior Senator with 2 years experience on freshman senator committees and who votes alongside today occasion strains. The democratic occasion already gets a extensive proportion of the black vote, he's not liable to make a difference. quite a few black applicants misplaced in 2006, their race made no result on the type of voters, it remained around 40%. yet do not ignore for each voter who feels prompted to get out and vote "for a metamorphosis" there will be yet another who feels the country does not choose a woman President or (insert racial slur here) purely a coronary heart beat from the Presidency. as much as a value tag like that would motivate and inspire that's going to additionally ignite interest in a destructive context besides.

The problem, with this ticket is like you said, 2 minorities. I don't feel that America is ready for either a woman or a black president. I think thats just the way it is, for better or worse. Hillary is also very polarizing, you either love her or hate her. The Republicans now just don't really have a stong person to contend, but theres a lot of time still to go.
