Legally? I'm not really sure. That would depend on how old your girlfriend is and what state you live in. Age of consent laws differ from state to state.

Morally? I don't think they're doing you any good by separating the two of you unless there's legal issues (as I mentioned above) or if she is causing you some kind of harm. I don't really know enough about the situation to be of any real help here.

If you're planning on being there for your girlfriend and your child, they should really let you see her so that you can be a supportive boyfriend and father. Your girlfriend really needs a good partner during this time.

Until you are no longer considered a minor in your state I think they can. Look, I realize you want to see her, but I think your parents are acting in what they feel is your best interest. Ask them why they don't want you to see her. Maybe they don't want you making rash promises. Who knows, but sometimes it's important to trust our parents. I'm sure they're not trying to hurt you. Maybe they're worried the baby isn't yours and you could be letting yourself in for some serious problems. They may not feel you are ready to take on the roll of fatherhood, though you might feel otherwise. Maybe they need to meet the girl if they haven't already, or talk with her with you. We may not understand our parents when we are young, but time will take care of that.

How old is she? and how long have you been seeing her?

I think if you sat down with your parents and had a mature discussion with them you might be able to work out some sort of agreement with them. Before you enter any sort of discussion take a step back and look at the situation from their viewpoint. If you were in their shoes i doubt you would be thrilled that your 17yo son knocked up his gf. anywhose don't yell at your parents, and try to refrain from name calling. In the end remember that you got her pregnant (assumably) tell your parents that you have to take responsibility for your actions and by not allowing me to see her you are stopping me from doing this.

Good luck.

NO, they can't, not even by any law. If the baby is yours, you are pretty much free of their control and allowed to see her. She is carrying your blood and needs the father present. Ignore your bitchy parents and do what you think is right. If they try to interfere, tell them how you feel and that you dont want to cause another fatherless baby and single mother in this stupid *** world. Besides, child abandonment is illegal and she could sue you for child support even though you want to be involved. ALWAYS DO WHAT YOU THINK IS RIGHT!

You don't say how old you are, but no they can't keep you from doing what is right. They must let you go and allow you to be there for her and the baby and to support her during het pregnancy. It is you right and duty to do so.

They must just remember that they were also young once and it is their grandchild to.

Good luck. Hope you get through to them.

You are kids having a kid.
Maybe your parents could talk to her parents.
Her parents are in shock right now. Be sure and show your maturity.
Maybe write a letter to them and tell them that you would like to be part of bringing your child in to the world and you plan to be a good parent. I am sure you ahve some legal rights once the baby is born.
