Despiration pleas are not good for job interviews. It simply shows the interviewer that you just want the money and are desperate for it. Telling him or her about your skills and what you can do shows the interviewer that you can make HIM money instead of simply making YOU money.

See the difference? Even if it is true that you need the job just to pay bills play into what they want, or you wont get the job.

Well, I agree that you won't have to be desperate on all your job interviews. We all have bills to pay and this one should be kept private. The rules about work and personal life always applies: You should not be mixing your own personal life with work. So...a big NO.

Would you work for someone that employed people because he felt sorry for them? Thats basicly what you are saying. Assume just half the employees got the job on that basis, how well do you think the company will perform.

Im afraid it your skills you have to sell at an interview. Its hard but not many people are interesed in your debt.

The US voted Bush in because they felt sorry for him and look what happened.
