Run the other way!!
I have been there and done that. I was married to a man for 17 years who, AFTER finding out he had AIDS, (and he didn't get it from me) decided he was gay. Interesting huh? I am so lucky and thank god that he didn't pass that on to me or our kids. Besides that it has messed with my head so much. I have been divorced for 5 years and still can't trust another man. I want to...but its very hard. You do not want to put yourself in this situation, believe me.

I just came out a situation like this. He and I were working out together and I kept getting this "vibe" form him, especially at the gym with all those sweaty, grunting men around.
Anyway, I decided to just walk. He is an exceptional man but this was my bottom line; if he is gay that is not something I can deal with and if he's not gay AND interested in me, he'll undoubtedly come find me and my guess work will be done.

first of all, not all men are going to sleep with every woman they see. second, ask him be blunt. third, there are a few non masculine men that are very much straight, i have met a few that were happily married and have STRONG personified women for wives.
take your time and get to know him, if he is gay, the worst thing that could happen is you gain a friend that loves to shop.
if you are too busy listening to gossip, you arent working hard enough to get to know him

Don't listen to the rumors. Odds are they are not true and besides, if he is gay, that is his business and no one else's, not even yours. If he wants to tell you that he is, then he will, if not, he won't.

Ask him, things aren't always what they seem and if they are no skin off your nose just grin and get on with your life. its better knowing then torturing yourself wondering
