i have had my first child over a year ago ..and got really bad strecth marks my husband says he doesnt mind im still beautiful to him????????? do you rwally think he means it or he deals with my looks bc of our daughter????/ will this turn him onto other girls just bc they do not have stretch marks on their tummy?

As a marriage counselor I can tell you that a lot of women have this same insecurity after pregnancy. If he loved you enough to marry you and have a child then he's not shallow enough to let a couple of scars bother him. Most men actually don't even think about it. Your stretch marks serve only as a reminder of the pregnancy you and your husband went through. I'm sure if you sit him down and let him know how much this bothers you he will help to put your mind at ease. Be trusting of his answers, after all you are married now. Men are a lot more honest then you may believe when it comes to their attraction to their spouses. Believe it or not, most men are more attracted to their wives after they have their children. Kids can deepen love and attraction to a lover more than you may think. I hope this helps you, please don't let things like this bother you. It's not healthy to worry so much.

This is just my opinion as a man.
First, if YOU are not happy with the stretch marks get some minor plastic surgery to have them removed.
Second, I personally would see the stretch marks as a beautiful reminder of the love you both share and the child you both created.
Finally, men will always look at other women and we will always think sexual thoughts about them, it is simply in our genes to want to reproduce, ask any scientist about that. What keeps us with the girl we love is simply that....LOVE. We do not love the women we stare at or think about in passing, its just old genetic programming.
I seriously wouldnt worry about it, unless there are signs hes cheating on you.

He probably sees the stretch marks and thinks they're beautiful because of the labour you went through, your whole pregnancy, your daughter, everything!
If he turned into a cheater just because of stretch marks, then that's pretty low.

You don't have anything to worry about. If he says you are beautiful, then you are. Simple as that. He sees what you went through to give him what he wants, and to him that is the most beautiful thing you could have done. Instead of worrying about this, why don't you try to focus on the love you have for your family and the love that they have for you, be happy and feel blessed for everything, and everyone you have in your life.

That question sounds a little too presumptuous, but I see from your point of view. I don't think this will turn him onto other girls if you both have a healthy relationship. Anything can affect beauty, but what it comes down to is how beauty affects you.

From the normal male point of view we would not like those stretch marks, but if he really loves you I'm sure he doesn't mind.

I have experience in this area and I am not opposed to stretch marks at all...I wouldn't go wearing revealing clothes to show them off, but if your husband says he doesn't mind, chances are he is telling the truth... Remember, he put them there, so he lays claim to em...

I think that if your husband turns to other women just because how your tummy looks he isn't no offense a very good husband a good husband would accept you and your tummy.

i don't have that kind of problem with my wife coz she has none. anyway, about you, when you turn off the lights does the stretch marks make any difference? i think not... hehehe it all comes down to the motion of the ocean. as to him turning to other girls..... IT NOT ABOUT THE STRETCH MARK! make your man happy (in-bed and off-bed). it an advice.
