Most of the time I listen to my iPod (3Gen) in the car. I have a 1st Gen Shuffle that I usually use as a flash drive between office and classroom computers. It's a rare thing that I walk around in public listening to music, unless I'm traveling. But I have figured out that sitting in the library with my earphones on discourages students from disturbing me on my lunch break, whether I'm listening to music or not!!

I just walk around with those little white headphones on and pretend I can't hear anyone. It's great for dealing with the homeless. I don't even have an ipod!!!
