you need to obtain an import license for your dog. You could check the details on www.ava.gov.sg. Then you would need to call the pet movers in the country that you are currently residing in as they will advise & help you obtain all the necessary docus needed to fly your dog back to S'pore. If i remember correctly, no qurantine is needed for dogs bght in via Australia.

If your dog is small enough to fit in a carrier that will fit under the seat in front of you, for an additional $75 or $100, depending on the airline, you CAN bring your dog with you on the plane. You need to book your dog's flight at the same time you book yours (unless you've already booked; then do it ASAP) because most airlines restrict the number of dogs that can be in the cabin on a flight, some allowing only 2 on a flight.

u need ur dog to get to the vet for a check up and tell them that u need a health certifcate for the airplane.
Then before u book the air ticket, u need to tell the person that u are bringing your pet and they will ask u which breed is it and how much it weight.
But u need a cage anyway. and if it is a BIG dog, u have to buy a BIG cage and u cant sit with it, they hav to place in somewhere special and it will cost a lot. but if it is a small dog, u still need a cage and it can sit with u on the plane.

http://www.petmovers.com.sg/ <<< click on 'export services'...they will settle all travel needs for your pet. i'm so touched that you have the heart to bring your pooch back...how sweet! i know some expats dump their pooches here when they returned to their native countries.
however, you may not be able to take the same plane back, & your pooch may have to be quarantined in that particular country. the only country that does not require singapore dogs to be quarantined is U.K.
