i cant begin to imagine what you're going through. When you were bleeding did you have a lot of pain in your tummy eg,sorer than period pain? Are you currently trying for a baby? It's very unlikely you cant get pregnant because of miscarriage.Describe what happened to you when you go and see the gyno,he/she might know what happened. It could've just been a heavy period,i get that sometimes too.Good luck, hope you find the answers you're looking for x

What you described could very well have been an early miscarriage or it could have been an abnormally heavy period. You will most likely never know. Unless the pregnancy left major scaring-which is highly unlikely, your doctor will not be able to tell if you were pregnant.

That aside, even if you did have a miscarriage early on, it is unlikely that it would be affecting your fertility. If may be a symptom of a problem, but not likely the cause of it. There are far too many things that could be keeping you from getting pregnant for anyone to go over here, so save that for your doctor. But I wouldn't worry that you not going to the doctor 4 years ago has damaged your ability to get pregnant.

I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks and also didn't go to the doctor because I passed a large mass and they told me later on that my body expelled it all and since it has been so long for you, I doubt that it is hindering you becoming pregnant now. If you feel like it has, see your doctor to ease your mind.

Having a miscarriage in the past should not affect your ability to carry a healthy baby to term in the future. If you're trying to conceive, you may want to see a OBGYN beforehand to rule out any serious conditions.

Most early miscarriages resemble heavey periods. Most are due to unhealthy fetuses. It's natures way of preventing severe birth defects. It doesn't change your future fertility though, so fertility issues must be addressed separately.
