I'm sure they are still around, but I HONESTLY believe that girls and women in the United States are averaging 5'9 or taller nowadays. BTW I'm 5'8'', so I use this as my measuring stick. In a mall, I'm at so many girls or women's necks or chests, it's ridiculous.

Everyone wears high heels these days. The average height of a woman is 5'4 to 5'5 so there are plenty of women out there for you. Good news is that I'm 5'7" and I'm married to a wonderful man who is pushing 5' 7 1/2", although I let him think he's 5'8". I'm also taller than most of my friends. Next time you're at the mall, check out their shoes. I betcha most of them are wearing heels. Good luck!

Maybe you're looking over the shorter women's heads and noticing us! Hah. There is still plenty of variety to go around.
Maybe the ladies that frequent the same mall as you wear heels if they're not as tall as you.
I know a lot of shorter women who would love that 5'8" you've got!!! And we'd all love it if the average height of women had increased for the sake of our kids if nothing else.

i'm in that type (5'11) and that i do choose short females (5'a million" to 5'6"). it is the genuine opposite for me: i might like my woman pal to pass on her tippy ft to kiss me. it is something so candy and romantic a pair of shorter woman pal. And definite, the "protecting" ingredient incredibly does come into play. I advise, cuddling with a woman and having the flexibility to place the two considered one of your arms thoroughly round her....it is heaven, relatively.

Women are getting taller because of better nutrition, but they probably also seem taller because they're wearing heels! The average heigh for women is still under 5'5" I believe.

No, there may be a lot more girls who are taller, but the average is still around 5ft5.
Remember, lots of girls are wearing heels!

women in mall wear high hill, so they look taller than you think they are. women don't mind guy a bit shorter than them, if she lieks him very much.
i am 5 feet7, and people think i am tall in Michigan. for northern part of state, people are taller. for southern part, peopel seem shorter.
i know more short girls, such as 5 feet1 or 2. they are mistly asian or mexican. i don't knwo why, maybe becuase it is their genius

im 5'4", so you should imagine how i feel! a normal height is 5'6", i think its all the chemicals and processed stuff in the food we eat. i wish my mom would have fed me more of that stuff!! lol
nope- my mom smoke and drank when she was pregnant with me, and prime example NOT to do it! I didn't with my son and he is already to my waist at 4 yrs old!

Where do you live? In California there are so many Mexicans and Asians that I feel tall and I'm only 5'4!
