There are shops out there that will do it but you don't just want glass you need to armor the doors 'cause the bullets will cut through those like butter. It isn't a bad idea to get run flat tires either because if you get stuck bullet proof glass won't help for long. Of course you will need a new customized suspension to carry that extra weight.
In the end it is going to cost you more than the car originally did and your gas milage will suck because all the extra weight and you risk putting too much strain on the engine and sending it to an early grave.
Plus you won't be able to roll down your windows when it gets hot.

It depends on what you term a bullet. The world's largest sniper rifle is essentially a small howitzer. Most bullet proof glass can be pierced by certain calibers, however you just make it thicker. I've been in the USTRANSCOM building and it had glass doors several inches thick. Also bullet proof glass is different than steel. I believe the glass has plexiglass and other things to sorta shatter and absorb the shock. Much different than steel. TlDr: There really isn't bullet proof glass, but the president's car is thick enough that he is safe.

yes as long as you have the money but it is not advised due to the weight, you need to upgrade everything from your suspension, brakes, HP/torque, tires with a larger load rating meaning you cant have your 18" rims you will need to get something like a 16" blazer rim and a 225/75R/16, hinges on the doors, the windows will not roll down, among other draw backs. the windows will cost somewhere in the range of $50,000-$100,000. so if you have the money anything can be done.

Im from Detroit, and I think a bullit proof Chevrolet Caprice would be awesome!
But seriously, if your going to do bullit proof glass, you need to have the Armor doors and the run flat tires. Then after you spend $50,000+ in upgrades, you might as well do it in style and Upgrade a Cadillac.

A specialty shop would be able to do the work, and it WILL be very expensive. You may very well have to have special police permits for this kind of protection. Try moving to a different neighborhood.

I think you should be more worried about why you even need to think about it. Instead of putting a band-aid on the situation, kill the disease and just get out of this toxic lifestyle.
