Nomar Garciaparra is married to Mia Hamm. That is not even close to the analogy because Nomar is good, but not the face of the sport and Mia Hamm is retired, but is the only sports-celebrity matchup. Dennis Rodman and Carmen Electra are also not analogous because he is retired and is a freak and she was never a mainstream A list. Rick Fox was married to an actress, but he too is retired.

Posh Spice, at least in the US, is somewhere between a has-been and a never-was, so she could be in for a rude awakening if the A-List don't want to hang around with her. They both could be B or C list here.
