"WHITE" people DO NOT act "BLACK"

This is the problem all together. Now if someone starts gibbering about mathmatics and electronics, are they acting asian ?

Come on people, it's 2007 for crying out loud.

Now, "people" are acting street or hip-hop. But the black white thing has been nixt for some time now. Have you been in a hip-hop enviroment ? There is more of a cultural division than a racial one. These "white" people are just motivated by their enviroment, and enjoy it. It all comes down to being real. Know who you really are. If you front, there will be a time that you will be called out.

White people may act stereotypically like a black people for lack of culture. Black people since slavery have created a neo-culture where as white people have not sustained the mainstream media as well as blacks in todays society.

People who try to emulate or conform to a culture to try and fit in or with expectations of getting the same success are often proven otherwise and come to their senses in later adulthood after forming a personal self. We should admire culture and learn from it not conform to it because we lose our individuality when we try to ride off the ideals of others.

I believe we should stop trying to be music videos and mtv persona's and just be people with intelligence and not just knowledge. Cultures are the birth and death to the self.

Specifically white people have also shared the ebonics from the south due to uneducation, culture, and deformation of language. White people may also have come from gang populated neighborhoods. But, when someone is influenced purely by the media it is by no denial that their persona was created by tv and not life experience.

It's just tv and lost youths trying to be cool. People should spend less time with materialism, violence, and what ever they expect to show character based on visual or linguistic terminology and just live up to who they are.

White kids act black to **** off their parents or to seperate themselves from the mainstream society. Usually. the white kids either grow up and quit the fad ... or they end up believing their facade is the way they should be and end up as 38 year old minimum-wage wiggers.

I think the real question is why are people not being themselves?
I'm black and I see people within my own race who are NOT being themselves. They are subscribing to an image that the media portrays as "cool". It's just not within one race. It extends to every race. People need to just be themselves. Unfortunately, being "cool" gets the attention of a lot of girls and women. This has been the case since probably the beginning of time.

In my experience--usually young people--when some of them are around one another they tend to become good friends and begin to act like one another--it's like rubbing off on each other? Every generation have things called "fads"-- this I feel is no different--hippies did too--it's just the wya life evolves sometimes and will pass eventually.

well, recently i just watched the show,"save the last dance". its about this white girl who went to stay in a black town after the death of her mother. she made friends with afew black people and got really close to one of them(her boyfriend then). He began teaching her hip-hop and rap. she used to be a ballet dancer. during one of her auditions, she imparted some of the hip-hop steps into her ballet. i guess it all goes down to socialisation and peer-influence. if her boyfriend wasn't black, i doubt she would have learnt the way blacks spoke, acted, danced, etc. so, that's one example of why white people act like they're black. but of cos they're many more reasons. =)

Because they have no mind of their own, rap is the in thing, so they gravitate toward the artist and try to act like them. It's kinda sad that they can't just be them selves.

I think it has a lot to do with music and the influence the artist has on the young people.
