There is a story I once heard about an 80 year old lady who was in college and graduated at the top of her class. During her speach at the graduation she let it be known that it is never too late to go back to school, because she was living proof.

So, to answer your question, no, it is not too late. You have so many years left to do what you want to do in life, so my suggestion is that you do go back to school and get a degree in something you will enjoy and then when you get out and get your job you will love what you do and you will love your life so much more.

Hey, it may even add a few years to your life. People who are miserable have shorter life spans than those who are happy with their life and careers.

I hope you do go back to school and go on to have a very successful career. I wish you the best of luck.

The way I look at it, it's never too late to go back to school. Ok, so your 28...you will most likely get transfer credits to knock off 2 years of another degree...then figure another 4 or so after that give or take you would be 32 or if you drug it out at the most 35? You still have 30 years left to work until you reach that grand ol' retirement age of 65! 30 years is a long time to work in a job you hate...then by the time your done working you will be so miserable that you didn't pursue your dream. I say go for it! Maybe start off part time, take online classes, then when/if you can afford it, transfer to full time and finish up.

No way! Not too late!! "Too late" doesn't exist until you're dead. If you truly feel like you'll be happier doing something else, then by all means, don't let the thought of your age stop you! I can think of nothing sadder than staying in a job or a life situation where you're unhappy just because you think it's "too late." Take out loans, get a sitter for the kids, get a night job. Go back! You will not regret it. Be happy and Good luck!

Definitely not. My dad got his degree in some computer related field in the early nineties, but decided a few years back that he wanted to teach instead. So he went back to school and got his bachelors and masters in education at the same time, graduating at the age of 45 or 46 (can't quite remember). Moral of this story- It's never too late!

Its never too late to go back to college until the day you die. People are constantly going back to college to reinvent themselves. But before you go after another bachelor's degree. Talk with an academic advisor about what requirements are needed to obtain a degree in either psychology or nutrition. You might need to take some additional classes and not a full blown program.

If your worried about time, you might consider taking online courses. Most are designed to allow flexibility in your learning.

It's never too late to study and education is a continuous process, even if it means you're not attending school.

Congratulations on your decision to go back to university. Don't be down about the fact that you've lost out. Look at it from a different angle. You've acquired years of experience from all sorts of fields, which has taught you many things... an education of your own.
So go for it!! Good Luck to you! God Bless.

Never too late. You'll be 28 either way, so why not be 28 and going back to school instead of just 28?! Good luck!
