1. Either "....were there to go..." OR "...girls there go shopping..." Depends on the thought to be conveyed; both are good sentences. As originally written, there was no verb in the sentence.

2. actor (no caps) and "...who once had..."
Do NOT set the clause off with commas. It is an essential clause, defining actor, and the commas are incorrect.

3. Correct as written. The suggested changes alter the meaning of the sentence.
