Father muslim former malaysian shifted overseas 50 yrs ago obtained another citizenship with foreing passport ,now only a PR here. Children born overseas holding foreing pass port can they follow civil law or must they abide under muslim law. pls give fact not guesses thank you for helping

you are bound by the laws of the country you are in. even if you are only there for an hour, for that hour you must abide that nations rules.

makes no difference who you are, or where you are from.

unless their laws let you can choose a certain behavior freely, the rest is a must do.
