The original Chuck Taylor was a basketball player for the now defunct Buffalo Germans.
Kurt Cobain wore Chuck Taylors (and was found dead in a pair of black ones).
Chuck Taylors were made in America until recently. Now they're made in China and fall apart way faster.

I have black and white high tops. My 7 month old daughter has the pink and white ones.

i looove converses! i have three pairs. i have a black high top w/ pink "rims", a blue low top w/ some funky patterns on it, and a brown sneaker type that i got in the Dominican Republic.

I have low and high.
Low - Black, Chocolate, Grey, Navy, Seersucker, Gold, Orange
High - Green, Red, Black & Red.

chucks are cool...but the star players (i have white and navy blue) and the one stars are way better
i would prefer black or navy blue low top chucks

i have some brown low tops but instead of the white they are a creamy beige color. very pretty.. i wanted olive green ones to match my eyes but the store said they were never going to get them in. luckily i nabbed a pair for my bf for christmas! lol. i wish i had his shoes...grrr.
