Australia is a better team in all departments of the game. In that final, Indian bowlers gave away too many runs. Indians looked short of strategy to dislodge key players like Ponting.
The biggest mistake made was to choose to field after winning the toss. A score of 350 is just unthinkable to score.

I feel that Aussies were extremely good in all departments bowling,batting and fielding...
All the 11 players in their team had their winning spirit higher than the Indians.....
Lack of special preparation for the finals by the indian team was a big blow for them and that became a big plus point for the Aussies..
After correcting the mistakes,I hope our team will win 2007 World Cup.....!!

because australia set india a massive total for a world cup final 360 odd i think and the indians choked tendulker couldnt hold the one man team up again

Because the players were too busy wondering how much they would make by endorsements to see that ball coming at them.
Anyway why would they concentrate on something as trivial as wining when a billion people could not find anyone better than them anyway?

regulation of time-honored is against Australia as no usa has gained the international cup consecutively thrice. in spite of the shown fact that, considering that cricket is a game of uncertainties no longer something could be envisioned for beneficial with regard to the end results of international cup.
