And if "reeployment" is the only answer, have they released an actual detailed plan that ensures the safety of our troops as well as our interests in the Middle East for years to come?

Sammy- that was their whole platform during the last election, right? (Bush sucks, bring the troops home) You're telling me that not one of them has got a detailed plan in mind, you're joking?

Every Democrat has a viable plan for success in Iraq but none of the plans are the same. Bush's plan probably will not work because the Iraqis do not want a democracy. They would rather kill one another. They have been doing it for years so why stop now? You drank water from my well? Zap! Right through the head.

The majority party does not currently occupy the White House, therefore any discussion regarding the policy in Iraq becomes null and void as the final say rests in the Executive Branch. Considering the fact that the Resident in Chief has no plan, never had a post-war plan, and is only concerned with the Corporate Oil agenda--we are all screwed at present. As diplomacy is not in Chimpy's vocabulary--we are stuck with his loser mentality. How one retards influence transcends to another I'll never know.

Funny, the last majority Congress produced absolutely NO plans for securing Iraq.
Now, with the new Congress in for less than a month, you really expect a viable plan??

The only reasonable plan is to withdraw the troops as quickly as possible. The whole expidition was a folly and the sooner we reailze it the better for America.

I have one: Setup a deadline and leave after that. It isn't our job to play police and baby sitter to an entire country.
Iraqi civil war is NOT America's problem. It isn't worth our money and it sure as hell isn't worth our blood. Screw the Iraqi government if it can't stand on its own.

They were kind of hoping Bush would do what he said - no nation building; train the Iraqi army to stand alone; blah, blah, blah, adnauseum. Their plan now is to clean up the total freaking mess Bush has left them.

The president is commander in chief. In theory, you should look to him for military strategy.
