Girls look silly with anything more than lipgloss or a little eyeshadow until they're at least 14. They especially shouldn't wear mascara; it looks horrible on adolescents.

When you do start wearing it, make sure you learn how to put everything on correctly. Too much or the wrong colors can make you look cheap and trashy.

I hate seeing the 10 or 11 or whatever year old girls wearing a load of make-up. I find it ridiculous because they don't even need to wear it. So wait

I started wearing alittle bit of make up, very light and natural in the 7th grade.Only light lip gloss and clear mascara.By sophmore yr.in high school is when I was allowed to explore all different types of make up products.

Whenever you want. I started experimenting when I was 12 (about a decade ago). It's good to make your mistakes when you're young, rather than when you're in the workplace. High school may be rough, but it also happens to be the perfect place to figure out whether or not blue eyeshadow works on you.

it really just depends on your skin type...
and how you look without it...
when you do start wearing it, start out little to get used to it...just a little foundation/cover up and mascara for startes...the mascara might even have to come later, cuz i know that for some people, it really bothers them having to put it on, they constantly blink while applying it, and then it may sting from all of the chemicals in it...
but as for when...i started in 7th grade, and really started to worry more about how i looked; not that i was a major pizza face or anything, i've always had perfect skin; in 9th grade...

i started when i was 12. but i put it all on VERY lightly and natural looking. i didnt start to use all of it until i was in highschool. the number one rules you must ALWAYS remember when it comes to makeup is that LESS IS MORE! you should make it look natural. try natural colors that compliment your skin tone. if you are just starting out, i would wear clear mascara, a little bit eye shadow and lip gloss. no more than that. dont ever start to wear foundadtion or powder because it will mke you break out. and dont forget to wash your face 4 to 5 times a day to keep your face from breaking out. and NEVER sleep with makeup on! hope this helps!!

I would say around sophmore or junior year in high school. that way one can see some change from freshman year. and not too heavy make it look natural. then i guess keep adding as one gets older, and one can go to those stores where they do a demonstration on the right make up for our age!

i think 13 is a descent age. but, at this age you should only wear one thing. and that is usually dependent on hair color or skin type. most blondes can usually get by with just mascara, brunettes - neutral colored eyeshadow just on the lower part of the lid, black hair - eyeliner, red hair - lipstick, blotchy skin - foundation, oily skin - powder. high school is when you can start experimenting with everything at once.

mmmmmmm well im not sure but i was around 15 and guess what? i never had good skin all the time i was wearing makeup. im now 21 and the only makeup i use is i.d it dont mess your skin up like other makeups or just use powder as it isnt oily
