Excuses for what? You need to be more specific, and I don't want to hear any excuses!

I usually state the truth if I have done nothing wrong or apologize if I made an error judgment. I see no reason to dance around the issue being discussed but I am 28.

My grandpa always said - "Excuses are like ar5es, everybody has one and they all stink".
The best excuses are made up anyway - no-one in their right mind would say their dog ate their homework, or they were late to work because they were saving the world.

As long as the 'confrontation' is justified; admitting the level of responsibilty due to you and apologising or agreeing to improve.
It steals their thunder - and it just might help improve things.
PS. never been blamed by God for anything, have you?

why do you have to be so confrontational. why can't we be equals, or better yet let me rule your world and see how you like that.
