The policy sucks! No it didn't change my mind.

It's like watching reruns about Vietnam. ( Yes...Iraq will end up like Vietnam ) Bush and other war supporters made a bad policy about Iraq.

Its a 15% increase in an attempt to secure the capital city. if it is a 100% success, we still have all of iraq to worry about, and not to mention it has been tried twice. Oh, and our president is defying congress and the Iraq study group... It's not democracy anymore people....

No it did not change my mind, because for a troop increase to do any good it is going to take at 300,000 to 500,000 additional troops to do the job it not more to get Iraq secured.
20,000 additional troops is barely going to be a drop in the bucket so to speak.
And one of the big problems right now is that out of the 140,000 or so troops in Iraq right now only around 42,000 are actually combat soldiers and Marines i.e. grunts. the rest are support troops not combat troops.
