UCLA is very competitive even with an excellent gpa and sat score. Your gpa will hurt you quite a bit, but I suggest that you explain why you got a low gpa in your personal statement.

No chance buddy. I had the same problem too, very high SAT, this was back on 1600 scale, and shitty GPA, not as shitty as you but shitty. I didnt get into the Univ of Florida but after three really good semesters, 3.7 in tough classes, at the Univ of Central Florida I transferred to UF. If you really want to go to UClA apply but if you dont get in do to another public cal school and try to transfer. Plus Cal public has a hardon with the east coast so they hate the SAT and will not give you the recognition you deserve.

more then likely because schools look at more then just ur grades/ GPA alone, i have a friend who had around the same GPA and he made a high score like that on his SAT and he got straight into Florida. Now i really dont know much about UCLA but most big colleges like that should take you since you did do well on your sat...
Good Luck :)

No offense, but I'd be surprised if they did. UCLA is one of the hardest schools in the country to get into, and unless your 2.1 is a result of several years of failure which you turned around and can prove that it won't change back, you have almost no chance of getting in there straight from high school.

I tend to doubt it.
Your highschool transcript doesn't seem strong enough.
