some female players do look too tough like mauresmo(looks like a man),navratilova but u have load of dainty players like sharapova,dementieva,hantuchova.but sharapova is quite gigantic about 6'3''.maybe they take male hormones but that isnt too likely cos otherwise they would have been tested and banned.

You say female professional tennis players, so I assume you mean all of them, yet I can only think of Serena and Venus Williams, Amelie Mueresmo and Martina Navratilova that support your theory.
