Maybe a mile in a blizzard. My best friend and I got the bright idea of driving back to our home town. Half way between home and town a blizzard broke out. She was slidding all over the road. So her sister and I sat on the tail gate of the truck to add some weight to try and get the gas station up ahead. Didn't make it went into the ditch on the side off the highway. Had to walk to the gas station. The station attendant was amazed because they shut the hwy down because of the snow. Had to wait for hours. It was awful. Hung out in the gas station with all the truckers that were on a haul.

I remember it very well, was winter time in the states and I wasnt dressed for the occasion, walked almost 14 miles in the snow in the dark, just almost to my exit and a trucker stopped to offer me a ride, needless to say I took the ride so I wouldnt have to slide down the hill on my fanny lol

me 22 kms, the worst part was i was it was in the outback, queensland, and had broken down on a road miles from anywhere, decided to sit and wait, nothing came along, I was there about 4 hours then i decided to walk, took me another 4 hours to get home becuase i thought i would take a short cut.... grin
