What the hell are you talking about? If it is about the safety of children then alot more things should be band...it is the responsibility of the parent to keep that junk away from small children. It seems to me that swallowing the batteries would be easier to do without the back on the remote.

lol. Your only allowed to own them if you think fast and cover, the cover, with ducktape as soon as you buy them, possiably before you leave the store . It is a pain to peal off the tape when the batteries die but well worth the time spent.

Ha! It should be! My 9-month-old loves to chew on remotes and always manages to get the battery cover off and chew on that and then we can never find them (until we move the furniture).
