Our neighbor made us some- it was good for fruitcake but I could only stomach half a slice. What about you?

I like fruitcake...just not the ones that have green cherries (not found in nature guys!)...but a good, hearty rum soaked fruitcake and mug of spiked tea? Yeah baby!
But no, sadly, I did not recieve any this year.

Yes! My grandmother gives us fruitcake! She has been giving us fruitcake each year since I was a little kid! I don't like fruitcake though, every year my dad is the only who eats it!

I not only got fruitcake, I got some re-gifted fruitcake! My grandma always sends these little gift baskets with cheese, sausage, deserts, and fruitcake to my family. They didn't want the fruitcake so they sent it my way.

Not this year. My mom actually makes really good fruitcake. The secret is Bakers sugar not granulated sugar.

never get the stuff, fun fact in manitou springs, CO they have a anual fruitcake toss, point of the game is to see how far they can toss a peice of fruit cake, cannons, catapults, arrows all are allowed in. never seen it but its cool to watch some of the video :)
