I wanna go to the movies with this guy friend of mine. I'm 14 now and i've known him since i was 5. People always say "oh you two like eachother are you going out?" He gets kinda embarressed about that. I call him a lot, without calls in retyrn as he never has credit, but i wanna go to the movies with him. Should i ask him? Do you think he'll get weirded out and be lyk, "no" or do you think he'll accept. I just don't want him to think i lyk him more than a friend. What do you think?

So this is your first movie together? You also mentioned that he has no credit yet? I don't think there are credit card companies out there who loans people under 18, but you are doing a great job for seeking advice before you go out with him. There's nothing wrong if you ask him but be prepared to be neglected if he thinks it's weird because of what other people might think. This is part of learning. I also would like to suggest that you bring extra cash just in case he does not have enough cash to cover the pop corn and soda. I mean seriously! You will save a lot of headaches and embarassment if you can save yourself from this type of crisis.

To score this plan of your: Make the invitation as "friend" and work your way up. What's the difference if you are not expecting something after the movies. That would be a different story, right? Just be cool and be safe. You have a lot to learn and life ahead of you.

Ask him the question - Say, ............ we have known each other for 5 years do you think we can take in a movie together without the whole world getting the wrong idea? I'd really like to see ......... but I don't want to go by myself.

Oh heck - just ask him out. Enjoy yourselves. If you've known him for so long it should be ok. At worst, I'm guessing you're close enough to get past any awkwardness that might ensue.

So go for it and have fun.

ask him without giving him a hint that you like him more than a friend. ask him the way you ask him about usual things. you two were friends for 9 years, i think he'll never suspected you.

Find a movie that you both really want to see and say "hey, we should see this one together." If you are friends, he shouldn't think much about it.
