There is book smarts and then there is emotional intelligence.
I think statistically, men's IQs are higher than women's.
However, when it comes to emotional intelligence, we have your a*s*s in the grass, sorry.

It's actually an interesting question, although I think you just meant it to be provacative. Intelligence is a bell curve (if you don't know what that is, look it up). Most people fall in the middle, some more intelligent, some less intelligent. For men, though, the bell curve has longer "tails" -- that is, there are more men who are super-intelligent, and more men who are idiots, literally retarded. The thinking on this is, because men can spread their sperm and have more children, it makes sense in a Darwinian way to have more differences linked to male genes. A hyper-intelligent man can have hundreds of children, hypothetically. For this reason, there also seems to be more retarded and autistic boys than girls. So, it seems there are more variances among men, in a variety of ways, because these variances have more of a chance to spread through the population if they're male-linked.
So, in answer to your question, there are some men who are much more intelligent than women, but there are also a lot of blithering idiots out there!!!
