Or pull the hood that goes to your coat/jacket on?
My avatar is wearing a hat, but I personally don't like them and just pull on my hood to my jacket if need be.

My best suggestion to you is, invest in a good old fashioned large long thick scarf~ it does double duty, you can wrap it around your neck and head, or just your neck, depends, also, looks great just being draped around your neck once and down your jacket...I say this because if your head gets cold you can pop it on but not feel constricted (I hate hats too) & it doesn't mess up your "doo"!

Personal choice, isn't it? I wear a hat or hood when it is cold. Sensitive ears.

i usually just pull my hood hat over. i don't like wearing hats because i don't look good with them, it gives you hat hair, and sometimes its itchy.
