I am from sommalia,after we got engaged my mother checked my to be wife to check if she was circumcised.Sadly she was not circumcised.My mother decided to circumcise her the same night of our marriage.I remember she was escorted into the room with my mother.She did not know anything about what she was getting into.Though I knew I didnt tell as i know she would not co-operate.My mother stripped her naked and fifteen women who come with the circumciser took hold of her and pinned her on the bed.They opened her legs wide open and riped clotoris out.I was not allowed to come in but i knew they had started to cut her as she was screaming her lungs out.No sooner did they rip her clotoris she became unconcious and she started bleeding very profusely.We rushed her to the hospital were she was given 4 sticthes.She was unconcious for 3 days after which she regained concious..She is so scared that she is not allowing anyone to have a glimpse of it ,she is unconsolable how can I help her recover?

I realize your post is a cruel idea of humor, but,
#1 In female circumcision they do not remove the clitoris, only the hood. When the procedure is botched is when clitoral removal, scaring and extreme bleeding happen!
#2 The people that take extreme offence to female circumcision (females), are the same that promote male circumcision.
#3 The results are the same in male and female circumcision
#4 Male circumcision is normally done on defencless babies, without anestesia
I am not in favor of circumcision for males or females. It is a choice that should only be done by CONSENTING adults!

You stood by while your wife was horrible and permanently disfigured and you did nothing to stop it. What the hell is wrong with you? Imagine yourself being horribly mangled by a tiger and your wife standing by with a loaded gun watching it mangle and eat you but not making any attempt to help you and you might have some idea of what she went though. Your wife will never enjoy sex with you. You could still give her some pleasure if you were hitting the g-spot but a worthless chickenshit bastard like yourself wouldn't care if she was enjoying it anyway. Were I you then I would get the hell away from your family and cut off all contact with them. Then you could try profusely apologizing to your wife and spend the rest of your life treating her as nicely and lovingly as you possibly can while praying that she will one day forgive you. You will never be able to compensate her for the atrocity that you stood by and allowed to happen to her but you can try.

Oh please, I don't believe your question at all. I know that women do get circumcised by some immigrant but there is no basis for such practice. It is neither religiously grounded nor is it safe. It is actually pretty useless. AND is a crime in the US (where I live) Orgasms are quite normal and nothing to be afraid of.
Furthermore, I don't believe you, I think you're just making it up. If you took her to a hospital then you would be in jail right now.

You cant console her, it was done without her permission. If it was me I would never get over it.
If you knew she was not going to agree to it why (if you love her )did you let your Mum do that?
It is traumatic and painful enough for those that know they are getting it done let alone someone that was ambushed and tortured. That is what it was to her.
Not a very good way to start a marriage. I wish her a fast recovery and health and happiness in the future.
And yes many cultures still practise female circumsision and it is not illegal.

That is a very sick practice. In America the clitoris is prized. Your wife will never experience pleasure during sex. If that were me I wouldn't ever forgive you for knowing what was about to happen to me. What is is about men that they need to "dominate" their partners? If she wasn't going to "cooperate" then why would you marry her? Also, why does a women need to have her pleasure organs cut off? And in such a horrible and DANGEROUS manner. People like you make me so happy to live in a place where my rights as a women are protected.

There is really no need to console her. Your mother was right to do so, and it's for the best. I had my wife circumised in almost the same way. Besides the health benefits, which are many, it will befit you more this way. Your wife will heal, and be fine.

Your wife needs to understand it was what's best for you and her. It would have been much better if she had been circumised as a child, but removing her clitoris at the time of marriage is acceptable. Having her circumised will prevent desiese, irritation during sex and clitoral spasms.

Well it seems that you'll have to wait till she comes around. It was very traumatic for her. Just have patience.
Just to note- in some cultures it is normal for women to be circumcised. So if he went to hosptial he wouldn't have been arrested if he comes from one of those cultures that believes in it.

That is really awful. But why would you do that. Dont you want her to have pleasure in making love to you. There is no way to console her she is gonna be very upset I am sure. You should count your blessings if she does not leave you.
