It depends on what you like & want.
I love the sea, diving, fishing, and similar activities. For me it is the Philippines - reasonable cost of living and very safe.

Well if you're planning on having kids and a family then probably in Scandinavia. they have the best benefits for families. If you're going to be just with your significant other. the South Pacific is very nice. But if you're going to be by yourself I suggest somewhere in Asia. I've been to all of those places and all of them will change your life. But I think the most important place to visit is Asia cause it is soo extremely different that it gives you a completely different perspective.

If you could afford it probably malibu california for weather. For wonderful scenery and seasons all of which are beautiful might be woodstock vermont
