I don't see why not. You don't have to be attached to live a happy, life. Just because you are not romantically with someone that doesn't mean you're a cold bitter person!

No. I'm single, lonely, unhappy, depressed, and even suicidal. being single can only be advantagous for the pursuit of material gains i.e. you can afford to do alot that having a family or a spouse or girlfriend might restrict, but most all people find that love is the only point to life. Hey, I'm young, I've got a job and some money saved up, and I'm going to college soon, but I don't even feel that any of this has any meaning because I don't have a girl by my side.

I'm trying to do that right now.... be happy and content AND single. I've tried the dating thing, and it just hasn't worked out for me. I don't know if this will be a life-long thing, or just for the here and now.

But, I am single and I am happy. I think happiness needs to come from within, rather than being found by finding a partner.

Mind you, I also have 3 kids from my first (and only) marriage. That is really a wonderful thing, so maybe my opinion is skewed.

It depends on how you define 'romantic'.

I happen to believe, even tho' I have a "partner" that the best you can come to is a very close relationship.

A relationship that is not defined by sexual activity.

Sex is fun and gratifieing, it is not everything.

We are very happy, and I think for alot of people, sex feels good but is over rated.

Find a person you can identify with, and that identifies with you.

I would hope so. I love my own company so much (without being vain) that I think I would be happy if I wasn't married.

I love having time to read a book when I like.
Cook what I like not what everyone will like.
Do dishes when I want, not when I should.

It's nice not to have to ever justify yourself.
Embrace this time. It may not last forever.

It relies upon on the guy, some people love being on my own and a few cant stand it. It additionally relies upon on if youre with the final guy or woman in a dating. If youre with the incorrect guy or woman, you're greater useful off and happier on my own i've got self assurance although, that on the tip of the day, all of us want and want somebody to strengthen previous with

It really depends on your attitude. I believe you can live happily without romanitc partner by your side if you are at peace with yourself. Having said that, it better with someone else by your side who is romantically involved.

Yes, you can be very happy being single! There are many unhappy relationships, and marriages! But you can also be very happy married! Life is what you make it! It is your choice! Good luck!
