I just assume people are truly nice and not phonys, unless/until they prove otherwise. People tend to rise to your lowest expectation, so why not make it a highest expectation?

I am guessing that you did or said something to let them know what you thought of them. Lets hope you said it to them & not to the world. If only said or thought to yourself, nothing needs to be done. Otherwise, there is a saying about making your words sweet just in case woud have to eat them. Live & learn.

I thought..."shame on me for not having faith in mankind" but I didn't change the way I was cause even though I might not trust people, I do treat them with the same respect I deserve for myself. Misunderstandings do happen.
