Yes of course, those people have no consideration for anyone else and are very selfish. Even worse is when the cashier next to you opens and they say "Can I help the next person in line" and then someone from behind you runs over to that line. Complete bs. I hope karma is real.

Yes sometimes I get mad when I have to wait. One reason is I am always in a hurry. I can not stand waiting in line behind huge orders when either the checker or the other customer moves like they have two weeks to get the order completed. Or One of them are so busy having a conversation with someone and it is talking 3 x as long as usual. The express lane is always open at Von's!!! They have a checker in Express from about 9 or 10 in the morning until 8:30 or 9 in the evening. They usually have more check stands available during the rush hours 4-7 so their not as bad as the other grocery stores. If you do not shop Von's try it.

Yes and no. Because if they have already started ringing up the stuff, there is nothing I can do, but if they haven't yet, I do ask if I can go ahead because I only have one item, and they say yes.
Now mind you, when I have too many things in my buggy I do let 1 or more person get ahead of me. So it works out even for me, most of the time.

i have no right to complain as they were there first....and if i were a little irritated, i would control it as i know i was wrong.

if i had a buggy full and someone behind has only a couple of items....i let them go first... it would not hurt since i have to be there anyway getting my stuff on the counter.

also, i find that many people are very nice and would always let me go first when they see i have only a few items. people in general are nice and are helpful.

Yes, Especially when they don't even offer to let you cut ahead. But I alson hate when you let someone with one thing cut ahead when you have a cart full and they pay with all change or make the cashier check a price on something across the store. How Rude!!!

I may get a little annoyed because whenever I have a bunch of stuff and the person behind me only has a few things I always let them go ahead of me.

Yes I do, so I go straight past the rgister to the front desk where they're happy to ring me up. After all I only have one item.

Usually the person with all the groceries offers to let me go first, but when they don't I ask, because I only have ONE THING!! Noone has ever told me No..... but I CAN ASSUME that YES I would be a TICKED OFF if for some reason they didn't let me go first! You should just speak up for yourself though, it never hurts to ask.

why would I get mad because someone got in line before me...people in our society are too consumed with time. its an extra 2 minutes in line, just talk on your cell phone or bring a friend along to keep you company & relax!

Yes, but generally people have been nice enough to notice and let me ahead of them in line.
