Portages vs Netherlands because that had 4 red card and 18 yellow card

Although refereeing in the World Cup was pessimist, there are three games I did not like.
The first was U.S.A vs. Italy. This game angered me because the refereeing was terrible. Why do people say De Rossi's foul was unfair? He elbowed Mcbride. Mcbride is one of the most humble players around, and underated, even if he is American. Mastroeni's expulsion was too harsh, it should have been a yellow for a back tackle. Then Pope had two yellow's which should have been one.
As for the goals, Italy prospered on that, but they were surprised to see some "AMERICANS" beating them in their own game. Gilardino's goal was great, but thier own goal was a let-down
The second was U.S.A. vs. Ghana. This game's referreeing was terrible as well. Maybe the first goal was alright by ghana, but their second goal was a cheat penalty. Onyewu didn't tacke the player from behind. Onyewu was bigger then him and the referree was in the back so he didn't see him well. Onyewu barely poked him and he fell for a penalty!! >:(
The last game was Italy vs. Australia. The game was great! Matereazzi red card probably wasn't fair, but the final penalty REALLY PISSED ME OFF!! As Grosso tried to take the ball, the Australian defender merely hunched himself since he fell, to not commit a foul but Grosso wanted to get out the way but lost balance and fell. There was no foul and no dive. The game should have went to overtime.

I am am Italian fan as you know But i still think the most unfair match was :
Italy vs Australia - Italy deserve to win for sure . But i think the penalty was wrong and for that so many trash was boomed up against Italy . Italy should have won that game rightly and the penalty was very unfair . This big errors in the biggest tournament is always unfair and especially when it's for the team that wins the world cup . No one played as a good as Australia against Italy , Italy must have won the game still but who knows , soccer is a funny game.

Ok, I'm not French, but I was pulling for France the entire World Cup. There's so much talent in that team, it's ridiculous.
Yet, the final versus Italy was unfair. I'm not saying the refs made bad calls. I just think it was wrong what happened between Zidane and Materazzi. Also, Henry should have pulled himself together and stayed in for the PK's. But this becomes a "shoulda coulda woulda."
Zidane shouldn't have flipped out. Henry should've sucked it up. And, if Trezeguet is going to take a PK, he should warm up first so he doesn't shank it entirely. Heck, I'd rather have Barthez taking the the PK if he's going to kick like that.
There's always 2010, haha.

I don't necessarily think it was unfair, but Italy v. Australia. I think Australia should've had that game...But, I'm not going to complain about the refs call because I'm sure that is a tough job to do, making calls that are so close like that. I really wish Australia would've won, because I think they had a good chance, but the ref did what he had to do and made calls based on what he saw, so oh well. Better luck next time, I suppose :)

Portugal vs France, becuz the French penalty was a result of an award winning dive by Henry.
Italia vs Australia, Grosso over-reacted, there was no way it was a penalty.Grosso kept on going into Lucas Neill.Italy didn't deserve that win.
Ukraine vs Tunisia, Ukraine qualified into the last 16 with the help of luck, Tunisia should have been the team to qualify into the last 16, there was a Tunisian free-kick and one of the Ukrainian players handled the shot resulting from the free-kick,which was inside the box, the referee was so damn close to it, it was a penalty %10000.but Nothing was given to Tunisia...with that penalty Tunisia would have qualified instead of Ukraine.

I just can't say enough that the US was cheated a goal against Italy, and all those undeserved red cards to the US team, first a straight red against Mastroeni, no way that was maybe a yellow and then Eddie Pope. And Convey's goal was good as he never passed the ball to McBride, that should have ended 2-1 for USA.

Australia vs Italy. Australia had been absent from the world cup for 32 years. They really needed to be in this world cup after so many years of heartbreak!. After watching replay of the diving incident, I found out that Grosso indeed dived and won the penalty. That was not fair. Had it been Australia doing it, the Australian player would have been cautioned.

Im obviously an Italian fan but I think France vs Portugal was a pathetic match... France only win off of penalties!

U.S. vs Italy
That was totally unfair cuz them refs were like favoring Italy, even if they were playing dirtier. Come on, that was no way to treat McBride! And that offside goal Beasley made, U.S. would've beaten Italy!
And also: Australia vs Italy
That was no penalty at all!!! Australia should've been victorious there!
