What is good technique for holding drumsticks to play snare?

Like in a concert band or orchestra setting...

do not do the under hand grip. its less control use the overhand grip keep ur thumb straight and use ur middle finger to sort of "fling the the stick" but still have in ut hand

ok. u hold your wraist up. finger down. Use lite grip for speed.i know because i been play drums for 5 years now
