Why is it when a few people ask a specific music question, like, who sings this songs, or what are these lyrics from, why does the question turn up about 20 answers? If its just a question like that, a factual question instead of an opinionated one, all of the answers are going to turn out the same! I know that if I ask a question like that I will most likely choose the answer from the first person who answered, all the other answers are pointless after the first one!

Same as when you were in school, and you knew the answer, and shouted it out even though someone else already answered: to let other people know you also have the answer. But it doesn't matter because I wouldn't skim down the page and look at all of the answers if I know they are all the same!

True. But if the first answer is wrong you would not have any idea unless you read all the answers. If you already know the answer, then why ask in the first place.
