Heres the thing, I'm in cali and ive been friends with a guy whos in Texas for a over a yr. We always keep in touch either via text or talk on the phone. We've always been ..friends on the surface u know...ive always thought of him as a friend..and nothing more. I didnt want to get into him cuz of the long distance relationship and cuz I know he doesnt want to commit. But now...ive discovered I have feelings for him. I'm really attracted to him. The truth is i dont wanna like anybody right now * i dont want to get hurt*Hes coming to cali on March, and we've seen pics of each other, theres an attraction there so i dont know if i should keep talkin to him...or should i distance myself. WHAT SHOULD I DO?????

just be cool and see what will happen when he is already there. Its all really up to you if things fall through.

Just be open cause you never know if you don't give it a chance.

Take a chance, you never know he MIGHT be the one? Maybe he would want to move to Cal if he feels the same way about u, or maybe u can make a move... just make sure and MAKE REALLY SURE what kind he is, no matter how long u have talked I am sure you really need to get to know him before you fall in love with him and trust him! Just be carefull and good luck... I just dont want u to not do anything now and then regret and think about how things would have or could have been b/w you 2 if you have alctully opened up to him and gave it a shot! :)

I've had a few long distance relationships before but I think the reason why they worked was because the girl and I have certain personality types that are condusive to handling distance well. That would be your call. It can work but play it slowly at first so no one gets too hurt in the event things don't work out.

If you put as much effort into getting a good education as you do about getting a boyfriend, you'd be a rocket scientist in no time. And just maybe in the process you'd gain some common sense that you wouldn't have to come on Yahoo! Answers to ask questions like these. Get your priorities straight.

You should be honest with him first, and see if he would commit to you. But if he has any kind of doubt, just let it go, because that means that he is not sure, and by you guys having a long distant relationship, he willmost likely cheat, and you won't know or have any proof.

Whatever you do, be careful. You never really know who you're meeting until you see them face to face. Make sure you meet in a public place, and your parents/friends know about it. Don't give out your home address just yet (if you haven't done so already).

Hope it works out. You've got nothing to lose by meeting him.

If you like him, give it a shot. You know him as a person and not as someone trying to get in your pants. That is truly the best way to know a person at first.

Take a chance. You just never know. After all, it's just a visit and the guy is going home.

go for it... and lets see what happens after you two meet each other. communicating through text or call is different from the usual communication. other people are, let say, talkative and agressive through text but in in reality, theyre not.

so, find out for yourself. if you still like him after your first meeting, then, go go go!
