Don't listen to anyone saying mean crap to you....you don't deserve that. Even though getting pregnant at 18 isn't good...it isn't horrible either...there are 14 year olds with kids. If your periods are irregular, then it's not unusual for them to fluctuate like this. Did you take your pregnancy test in the morning? That is when the levels of hCG are highest in your body and it's more likely to get an accurate result. Wait a day or two and take another one in the morning. Stressing and worrying about being pregnant will also make you late. I've had times when I was stressed and worried about things and my period would be several weeks late. I'm assuming when you had unprotected sex that your partner ejaculated in you. If you were ovulating at this time, then it's possible, but it doesn't mean that you are definitely pregnant. If you aren't pregnant, make sure that this never happens again. Whenever you are about to have sex, keep a condom with you and remind yourself of how much you worried about this. You don't want to have a child at 18. Keep telling yourself this to keep you from being tempted to have unprotected sex.
Hope I helped you some and take care of yourself. I'd like to know how this turns out for you, so make another post when you find out, if you can.

like you said u are irregular, if u did not want to fall preg u should have got the morning after pill, but I am not here to judge, hopefully it is merely delayed by stress, I often went months without a period, but if happens that u are pregnant your hormone levels may still be too low to register on a home test. You will be ok, just believe in yourself, have a little faith. Children are a blessing and if you have fallen pregnant while the situation might not be ideal, it will have happened for a reason. Take care of yourself, give it a little more time. If you are still worried in another week see a doctor. if u want to talk e-mail me

Your period could be out of wack cos you're stressing about being pregnant. Just relax and wait. If it still hasn't come in the next couple of days or so, go for a blood test. Those home pregnancy tests don't always work. GOOD LUCK, and no more unprotected sex!!!!

Relax. If your periods are irregular and you have taken a negative pregnancy test then chances are you are not pregnant. If you don't get it in another week or so, try a test again. If it is still negative go see your OBGYN and get a blood test to be sure and then get on some birth control. That way, you don't have to worry anymore.

When I was younger, I had irregular periods as well. Once, when I was under tremendous stress, I didn't get my period for 2 months. There are many factors that would prevent you from getting your period. Stress is number one. Worrying will cause stress. Just relax and try another test in a week. If you are that concerned, see your doctor. You learned your lesson, use protection. Good luck.

Stop worrieing first off since that can make it so your period doesn't come on time or at all. Second off I would get a Frist Respons at home test and take it in the morning with the first morning pee and if you still get a negitive but you still don't get your period I would go see a doctor.

Stress is one of the main causes of delay. I know it is easier said than done.Try to take your mind off it. You can take another test, but I doubt you will have different results.Do your self A favor.Go down to planned parenthood and get yourself some kind of protection. It is unfair to both mother and child to bring an unwanted child in to the world. The abortion issue is up to the individual but, remember what decisions we make stay with us our whole lives.Your young, you have the rest of your life for mistakes. Save yourself this one.
